Product overview

Cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen-4 (CTLA-4), also known as CD152, is a leukocyte differentiation antigen and a transmembrane receptor on T cells. CTLA-4 consists of a 35aa signal peptide, a 126aa extracellular region, a 21aa transmembrane region and a 41aa cytoplasmic region. CTLA-4 and CD28 share the B7 molecule ligand, and the combination of CTLA-4 and B7 molecules induces T cell anergy and participates in the negative regulation of immune responses. Genetically recombinant CTLA-4 Ig can effectively and specifically inhibit cellular and humoral immune responses in vivo and in vitro. It has a significant therapeutic effect on transplant rejection and various autoimmune diseases. It has extremely low toxic and side effects and is currently considered to be the most effective. Promising new immunosuppressive drugs.
