Integrin-associated protein,IAP(CD47)
Product details
Product overview
CD47, also known as integrin-associated protein (IAP), or OA3, is an important member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily and is widely expressed in cells in different tissues. The chemical nature of CD47 is a 40-60 kD membrane glycoprotein, consisting of a 123aa extracellular domain, five highly hydrophobic extended transmembrane segments, and a 34aa short selectively spliced carboxyl-terminal cytoplasmic tail. The multiple regulatory functions of CD47 molecules in the body are mainly based on interactions with signal regulatory proteins, thrombospondins, and integrins, and are involved in the transmembrane migration and phagocytosis of immune cells such as neutrophils, monocytes, and T cells. Regulation; promotes the chemotaxis and diffusion of platelets, tumor cells and smooth muscle cells; inhibits the release of IL-12 in monocytes, while inhibiting the promotion of Th1 cell evolution by exogenous IL-12; in addition, it can also induce lymphocyte apoptosis physiological processes such as death. As an important immune factor, CD47 plays a key role in the body's immune regulation.
The CD47-his and CD47-Fc expressed by mammalian cells of our company have high purity and good activity.
